A team time trial is the perfect mix of chaos and choreography—a living, breathing entity shaped by individual wills surrendering to a shared rhythm. Like a murmuration, it flows with quiet elegance: a seamless dance of colour and motion, riders drafting, conserving energy, and responding to invisible cues with instinctual precision.
An original oil painting by the artist, one of the Sky team time trial series, draws inspiration from high-speed team time trials that place the viewer directly in the heart of the action. Paul explores this dynamic world through gestural marks, layered colour, and interlocking forms.  A3 oil painting on arches paper and unframed.
